The Fort McKavett Volunteer Fire Department and Community Center, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization providing first responder fire fighting in the Fort McKavett area. It also provides a community center for area public and private events. Our organization receives no direct financial aid from any government agency. All our operating funds come from donations from our loyal supporters, our annual June fund raiser and BBQ Cook-off, and grants. Would you please consider a tax deductible donation to support the fire department? You can also make a bequest through your will, a trust or other planned gift, or an in-kind donation of goods or services. Funds collected are used to maintain and equip our fire trucks, purchase fuel and lubricants, purchase insurance, provide building and grounds maintenance, pay utilities, provide upgrades to our physical plant, and save toward fire truck upgrades.
